Hello, As war rages through Ukraine, the people of Ukraine are facing a new time of suffering. Food prices are up over 40%, energy costs including gasoline have more than doubled, and many are losing their jobs and are forced to flee destruction.
YOU have a great opportunity to help by giving to one of the trusted agencies below:
Kontaktmission: They are providing food, transportation, and shelter to fleeing refugees by partnering directly with local Christian agencies within Ukraine.
Samaritan's Purse: Providing emergency care to Ukrainians fleeing into the surrounding countries of Poland, Romania and Moldova.
Ramadan starts April 1, 2022, and lasts for 30 days. Ramadan is a spiritual discipline for the Muslim world and is a time where Muslims are seeking to better know and understand God. This is also a great time for followers of Jesus to pray for the Muslim world, to be praying that, as Muslims seek God, they will find Him and understand the truth of who He is.
This is also a great time for our field workers to be loving, supporting, and engaging with their Muslim neighbors in foreign lands. One of our field worker friends has invited all of us to join them in praying for their Muslim neighbors throughout the month of Ramadan, in 15 minute time blocks. Would you consider taking one 15 minute time slot? How about one time slot per week for the month of Ramadan? Or even the same 15 minute time slot every day for 30 days?!? Welcome to a new section of the newsletter titled God Story that will contain a two-minute story of someone living out their role in the Great Commission. A big chunk of the stories will be from the 30+ field workers we support throughout North Africa and the Middle East region. For their safety, we will not always be able to share their name or location. However, we still want to share how God is using them to reach the unreached. As we share these stories, try to identify which role you are playing, and join us in praying as God raises up more prayers, welcomers, mobilizers, senders and goers for the Kingdom.
"Last week I was down south to teach a large gathering of young men and women who have a heart to see Muslims come to know Jesus. One session I led was on prayer. Prayer is the heart of all movements. One young man asked me about how we can hear from God. I talked about many ways, including that God sometimes uses dreams and visions. He asked God that day if He would show him what God wanted of him. The next morning he grabbed me by the arm and asked if I could talk with him. I got my breakfast and sat down with this young man. He told me he had a dream and he thought it was from God and asked me to listen to his dream.
He told me he saw himself in the dream working with the poor children on the street. The dream was very bright and he found great joy in doing what he was doing in the dream. He also said he was telling the kids and their families about Jesus and the people were finding great joy in hearing about the hope in Jesus. He woke up from the dream and was feeling it was a dream from God showing him what he was to do. He asked me if this was a God dream. I turned the question around and asked him what he thought. He felt so much joy in the dream and when he woke up he believed it was. I agreed it appeared to be, but told him to keep praying and asking God for clarification.
He then told me he fell back asleep and had a very dark dream he woke up from in tears. The dream was very dark and heavy. His dream was of his mother dying a very painful death. Something to know about young men, especially the oldest sons, their mothers are everything. So much so that when the father dies the mother will normally move in with the oldest son. For a 23 year old to see his mother die in a dream is heartbreaking. He asked why would a dream like that follow such a beautiful uplifting dream. My response was scripture.
I shared John 10:10 with him: The thief's purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.
I asked him, based on this verse, what do you think happened? He told me he believes the devil doesn't want him to do the will of God. My response was 'biZ-Zabt' which means 'exactly.' This was a great lesson for him to learn and also share with others in his group.
Pray this young man and his friends find God's peace in the work they have before them."

March 4 - 13 - Spring Break Student Trips
This spring we have 3 trips for our junior high and high school students. There is an Egypt, New York and Phoenix trip. Each trip offers the students an opportunity to see the unseen and to be stretched out of their comfort zones. Please lift the students and the trip leaders up in your prayers. Pray for safety, health and for the Spirit of God to move and do amazing things in their lives. May these trips be transformational as they deepen their love for Jesus and the nations!
