GO Messenger - FEB 2022

Hello, February is here and I pray you feel loved by God in a way that warms your heart and makes your heart burn on fire for more of Him! One of the most beautiful things in this world is that God can love us so intimately as individuals and yet be so grand as to to love us ALL at the same time! As you read this newsletter, I pray that you would not only KNOW that God is LOVE, but fully BELIEVE in God's love for you and all of His people! God's love is so intense that He's not willing to lose any of us, He is patiently waiting for all humankind to have a chance to repent and come to Him (2 Peter 3:9). He desires for all to hear the GOOD NEWS of Jesus as the path of life. This is what the Great Commission is all about, sharing the love of Jesus! As we experience the love of Jesus we are called to share His love with others. This Valentine's day remind those you love that you love them, but also remind them that God loves them even MORE!

Welcome to a new section of the newsletter titled God Story that will contain a two-minute story of someone living out their role in the Great Commission. A big chunk of the stories will be from the 30+ field workers we support throughout North Africa and the Middle East region. For their safety, we will not always be able to share their name or location. However, we still want to share how God is using them to reach the unreached. As we share these stories, try to identify which role you are playing, and join us in praying as God raises up more prayers, welcomers, mobilizers, senders and goers for the Kingdom.

"Where we live, we are often asking ourselves questions like, "How will my neighbors ever understand?" "Why do people keep telling me what I believe and assuming they know?" "What are we even doing here?" Even, "Who then can be saved?" These last few weeks, though, as we see God answer prayer, a returning refrain in our minds has been, "With God ALL things are possible!" I was thinking this especially as I finished my language lesson two weeks ago. In our previous lesson, the Lord opened a door for me to ask my teacher if she'd be willing to use the Bible for our lesson. I was certain she would refuse as we had gotten nowhere in previous spiritual conversations and she only seemed interested in trying to convert me. Her curiosity level seemed to be 0.05%. I sent out an email asking for prayer as I was expecting her to pick apart every verse and question things or negatively spin things. Many of you prayed, and that first lesson reading in Genesis to now have been a totally different atmosphere. I'm supposed to be practicing my reading, but almost every verse she is whisper reading ahead of me to finish more quickly and murmuring, "Praise God, how amazing!" Most people here would say they believe in all the Books but haven't read them, she even told me today that her husband was glad for her getting to read with me and wished that he knew where he could get one so he could read it, too. Please pray that this sudden, miraculous new openness would turn into real yearning and transformation in her and her husband's lives. With God, nothing is impossible! March 4 - 13 - Spring Break Student Trips

This spring we have 3 trips for our junior high and high school students. There is an Egypt, New York and Phoenix trip. Each trip offers the students an opportunity to see the unseen and to be stretched out of their comfort zones. Please lift the students and the trip leaders up in your prayers. Pray for safety, health and for the Spirit of God to move and do amazing things in their lives. May these trips be transformational as they deepen their love for Jesus and the nations! If you feel led to donate financially to any of these trips, you can click HERE.

March 31 - Israel/Palestine Trip Application Deadline

We have a peacemaking trip to Israel/Palestine scheduled for May 28 - June 5. Apply today!
